CAM/Co2 car

Hello out there,

Anyone of you have the tutorial for the CAM/co2 car? If so, how do you get it to operate properly? I was told to run it on version 6 mastercam, but when I call up the C8.ge3 file it says version 9 and that the file is corrupt or invalid.

 

I am up to version X, but I have had to regress with this tutorial. It has been a struggle and I still don't having it running.

 

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had this once but have misplaced it. it was just a bunch of layers if I remember right with drawing limnits laid out in each layer. If you wish to send it to me I can see if I can open it up. where are you teaching? I am in McCreary Manitoba.

Thanks for your help guys. I figured it out. I had to go out of the tutorial and do a program search to find the C8.ge3 program. It is not where the tutorial said it was. Me and one of the students did a little work on it today and got past this point. If I have any more troubles, I will be sure to ask.

 

BTW - I am currently making parts for the physics department's trebuchet or pumpkin chucker as folks in North Carolina call it when they can't speak French. When it is completed, I will post the pics.
