ver 8 start up problems

We are behind in the versions(v8) right now, but my students are beginning to see how useful the equipment can be. We have an awesome project started, but came in on Monday to find out our Mill 8 program is not operating the way it had been. We can usually draw on the top plain for graphics and what-nots, give it the depths and everything is ok. Now it says with a boxed message "Warning-the construction plane is perpendicular to the graphics view," with an OK button. Since I am still learning the program, I have no clue. I tried checking the Gview and C plane, but have not been successful. I tried to create a rec, and it asks for lower left corner, which it accepts, then upper right, but brings up the message. can anyone help us out or point us to someone who might be able to help us?

try setting the Gview to Iso and the Cplane to top

Hi HS,

Sounds like somebody may have messed with the configuration. Do this go to Main Menu>> Screen>>

Configure>>Start/Exit Tab, make sure the default construction plane is top, also have update cplane and tplane when changing gview checked. make sure you save on exit and restart Mastercam. This should do it
