Global Tooling Database Project

Within the spirit of an earlier request, The proposal is put forth to create and maintain a user sponsored database for Cutting Tool Profiles.

 

These tools could then be included within the default install from CNC Software - with our permission of coarse. Guidelines for the creation and placement of tool origins so we can all be consistant needs to be established.

would sponsor a project that features there tools as a Mastercam tool library?

Dapra has there logo in the sposor section of the forum. I like other tools as well , I will work with any of them.

Sounds like a plan to me. It would be nice to have more real word #'s to work with. I have always relied on myself for feeds, speeds, stepover, and depth of cut. With all the exotic materials and cutting tools A guy (or gal) needs help. Has anyone tried cutting with the duramill libraries from mastercam.com?
