Member opinion: "What brand is best?"

My shop is going to be shopping around for a new 3-axis router. We currently use Thermwood 2000's, with the 91000 control, single tool, X144", Y67" of travel. Anyhow's, what other brands are out there? And which do you prefer. Feel free of course to go as in depth as you feel necesary to support your opinion.

I have posted this questioin a few times. You may want to do a search. I have thoroughly investigated routers and to my finding, you pay for exaclty what you get. I would look at Komo, Heian, and Northwood routers. All are very well built. I have tested 3D toolpath's on them and they exceeded my expectations. Get ready to fork out some money though.

Quintax

If you would like to make heavier cuts and have more "active" area (5 axis)

they make 3 levels trimmer (10 Hp)

medium pattern/Aluminum (12-20 Hp)

heavy duty Full Aluminum cutting(40 hp)

They also make 3 axis routers
