Good day,

Does the "g43 Z2." enter the hole or stop at the edge of the part....to save time, I would copy

+ paste from another tool, or hand

write this tool block ...the time it takes

to write this post you could have made 3

small progs...I am concidered a fast

programmer rather than exact one.

MC, most times gives me 95 to 98 %

what I need the other 2% I Jam,

just to not hear my boss say

" WHATS TAKING SO LONG "

If you want, the M0 prog you made,

Keep as a template, "Spindle part

Prog " an any time you need it

paste it in...I have hundreds

of template progs like it

n,G43,tlngno,zout,pcoolant_on,e

you may need to change the variables for canned text to what your post uses, but this format should work for your desired output.

Create a point at your x,y,z,.

Toolpaths, point, select point.

Canned text set to "full stop" M00, with.

If this is something you do all the time,it seems as though you could create a new "M00" drill cycle easy enough. Otherwise I would use a regular G81 drill cycle with a long dwell at the bottom. When the pin gets to the desired position, you could manually stop the machine.
