CNC NC Simulator

Well I am about to give up on looking but hopefully someone might be able to help. I first tried Vericut however my reseller does not sell it nor after a couple e-mails to vericut can I get any info. So I went to predator and tried downloading thier demo which I got but for some reason I have never got a password sent my way.

 

So I am looking for a CNC simulator, and hopfully can find a edu version. I do not need anything huge, as I will only currently check a few self written programs and some mastercam nc files. Anyone have any ideas what I might go with or have any ideas.

havn't tried Cimco pro.?...it backplots.

I use it alot for hand written and

old unknown nc's

Also its not to costly

Thanks guys for the quick response. I origianlly used the one on predators web site, however I just filled out the form at your web site. By any chance do you know on the price of virtual predator and if there is a edu version.

Though, this project is still in a fairly early state of development,

that means, it is far from mature and it has many bugs...

I just recently found this site.

I downloaded a trial version of their mill/lathe

simulator.

It is very cool!

I think it may be a German company.

Another one that i found is at

You can download a trial version "cut viewer".

It is a "G" code simulated backplotter that

you can take actual Dim's on after backplotting the file.

Cost is about 400.00 bucks.

They also have one for lathe too.

Worth trying for free!
