I just read at Computer-Aided Design magazine http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/journal/00104485

artical about multi-axis tool path generation algorithm with optimisation tilt/lead angle

to avoid machine collisions and at the same time to maximise the material removal rate along the tool track. Pictures at papers look quite promising but

I think this thread more to CNC guys And will be interesting to hear are they know about it and can we expect this solution in MasterCam in future
