Printing to 100 % Scale

I've run into this a few times, except now it is driving me crazy...I'm trying to print a hardcopy at full scale...just to make a simple template. Eg. I want to print out a 5" circle..

I've tried generating my geometry and NOT zooming in or out, and that certainly doesn't work. Any ideas?

Hi cmr,

You might try plotting instead of hardcopy.

Go to Screen,Next,Plot.

plotting is the way to go. remember though, when selecting the plot feature in the "config" set up, tell MC to use the windows drivers and you will be able to print from a normal printer at full scale.

Took a bit a trial and error, but I've got my plotter settings dialed. Judging from the hardware transmission options in screen>configure>plotter settings, I've always assumed that the plot functions were for transmitting to large scale plotters (full size!). Using the "windows drivers" is the key to utilizing a regular printer.

Another lesson learned.

 

Unlike Scott, I'm not a fast learner. It takes me a long time to learn things, but once I learn them, I can remember them for HOURS!
