Art toolpaths

i would like to start a discussion about what everyone thinks of the Art toolpaths. i will hold my comments back until i have heard from a few of you. i do have some things that i would like to see changed.

 

below are two links for videos that i made of my home router cutting a face and the other video is cutting praying hands. both were toolpathed using Art. i imported the STL file into art for both projects. this is actually very easy to do. i wish it were this easy on the milling side.

Good job,Trevor.What kind of bit are you using? I'm doing some practice to engrave some very fine figure,can you suggest some bits.

it really depends on your geometry. for really fine detail, i use a V-bit = .005 tip with a 10 degree included angle.

this is the bit i use for fine detail. it is pretty cheap also.
