Print the Art Model

Hi,All:

 

Try to use MC-Art to finish some sign works.

Everything looks good except the printing problem. Plan to print the art model out to show our client, my print always pint a blank paper.

does anybody know how to print it?

Or How to open a .STL file and print it?

i will look into the printing issue. for the time being, try using SCREEN-copy to clip board.

Normally art model and 2d drawing are saved in seperate layer. Turn on all layers and print ,you only get the 2d drawing .

I see the same issue when printing Art surfaces. I'll see what I can did up.

Hi All

 

As to prining you can not print the Art suface grid, but the shaded Art surface prints well. I am used X2-MR2-SP1 to do the test, but I know it works in X2-MR2 as well. Give it try and let me know if you still have problems [email protected]

For a temporary work around you can download printkey 2000 from the internet. It is a screen capture utility that I have used with Mastercam for years. I have run into problems many times trying to print from the different versions of Mstercam and this is a great tool for capturig the sreen image. It allows you to place a window around what you want to capture and save as .bmb, .gif, or .jpeg.

I have had that problem. But only trying to print in color. If I send it to the black/white printer it works fine. Color printer, I get a blank page.

Never figured it out but have not had the issue since switching to MR2 SP1. No idea why it made a difference, but it seems to have.

My only work around was printscreen.
