diferences between X4 and X5

Hi,

1. when i open in X5 old file created in X4, i allways have to change postprcessor. Is it because i changed default path from "...my shared folder\" to "C:\mcamx5\mill\posts\.." as i was accustomed from X4 ? (i want to have all files related with X5 in one folder - post, ops, config file etc.)

2. When importing toolpaths in op. manager in X4 there is source folder button and rollout menu with toolpaths files located there. For me it is clearer than X5 style: when i select import op. than there is popup window with file selection (and default path is set up to ...my shared folder\...) So it is too much clicks for import toolpath.

3. When i select default directory for my mcx (mcx-5) files to directory where i have folder named by customers (companies) (c:\work\company A\) It sometimes work, sometimes not when i try to open file. Sometimes i am in C:\work\, but sometimes i am in ...my shared folder\...

4. When filling tool feedrates, spindle speed etc, in X4 MU3 i used "enter" to get to the next field, in X5 it is "tab" and i am not sure but, in X3 it was "tab" ? I think "enter" key is much faster and more comfortable because i can use numpad.

Is there any way to change it?

But to be sure, i am not complaining about X5. I love some new fetures that are very usefull for me. And whole mastercam is number one for me :-)

I 100% agree here. It is much easier to fill in the parameters and have the enter key jump you to the next box. It is the little quirks like this that drive me nuts from one release to the next.. Over all I have been very pleased with X5 so far!
