Something I miss from older X versions.

See attached picture. I do not have access to flickr or photobucket at work therefore I attached a picture describing it.

It ws dropped for technical reasons.. we now have tool libraries with more than one file extension

(tool-5 and tooldb)

and the dropdowns do not support mulitple file extensions.

I put in a couple of bug reports on this and that was the explaination I was given.

All I can suggest is to put in an enhancement request to [email protected]

If enough people request it, maybe they'll figure out a way to give us our dropdowns back.

 

I hated not having a dropdown at first, but after a while, you don't notice it anymore.

One nice thing about having a File Open window is it's easy to go to other folders if the library

you're looking for is not in the Tools folder

Yep, I'm sure I'll get used to it. It's only been 7 days since it's been released. I'll give it some time.
