Circle mill not simulating cutter comp

On a simple circle mill with only roughing selected, using control comp on a .74 Dia. bore using a 1/2" end mill with .032 roughing stepover it is not simulating cutter comp with verify or backplot. It worked fine in X4 but not X5. And yes simulate Cutter comp is checked in my settings. Did I miss another setting?

Visualy that worked but now I have no cutter comp.

Have the same problem here if I turn off roughing it shows it correct so to get around this I've been breaking the toolpath into two the roughing uses computer and the finishing one uses control this seems to work for me if you don't need to use control wear works correctly.

I would think so it worked fine in x4

Look in your Verify settings. Is "Cutter comp in Control" checked on? Also in Backplot settings, is "Simulate Cutter Compensation" check box turned on?

 

I'm thinking these might not be on by default in X5...

It is turned on in both Verify and Backplot.

Opening X4 into X5 seems OK but creating new path in X5 is causing a problem
