Verify Problem

I am looking at a part programmed on anothe computer ahd when I go to verify a part I can see 3 sides. The other 3 sides are black and I can't see the tools cutting here. I figure it is a lighting problem but don't see any config settings that help. The only lighting I found was under the shading tab in the configuration section. Can anyone help? I have used verify countless times and have never had this problem.

Well, you don't say what version you're using on that system but I seem to remember an early version of X4 having an issue along these lines.

 

If it's running X4, make sure it is updated to MU3.

 

How about the video driver and card? Been updated, is it a good card?

Thanks JParis. I should have noted that I am running MX4 MU3. I am using a NVIDA Quadro FX 3800. The thing that confounds me is that my video card has always worked on any file that I created. The one I am looking at now was created by another programmer and I was just opening it to look at how he did some toolpaths.
