Format Statements

I've got an old V6 post with the following statement

 

fs2 17 1.4 1.3lt #Decimal, absolute, 4/3 trailing

 

It cause the Q in peck drilling to output like this

 

N470 G98 G83 Z-1.1276 R.1 Q3000 F8.

 

I can't find a statement in the modern mpmaster to do this

what line do I need to add?

Make it if it doesn't exist, use the next number, like

 

fs2 25 1 4 1 3t, you'll likely want it like this instead

 

then change the format type on the variable from 17 to 25

 

but I WILL tell you THAT format statement isn't outputting that Q like that.

 

I am betting it is being reformatted elsewhere, maybe in the drill cycle itself

 

That is telling it to force out 1 leading a decimal and then 4 trailing numbersm clearly not what you're getting on that output. That what eh l & t are, leading and training, the decimal is meant to output between the whole and decimal portion of the output.
