imported operations .nc names

When I'm importing groups of ops, the first op in each group is assigned the .nc name of the previous group rather than the group in which it resides.

Do I have a setting to adjust or is it my method?

Pretty sure the path name comes in as the same name as it was when the toolpaths were exported. Select all the ops, right click, edit selected ops, change nc file name. is a pretty easy fix.

If I import ops and include groups the second and all subsequent ops are named the same as in source groups. The first op in all imported groups is named according to the preceeding/other group. Weird.

Editing is not difficult but it's annoying as I use import ops lots.

Go to Settings/System Config/Toolpath Manager.

The right column is NC FIle name..

I beleive imported OPS will respect these settings when brought into a new file

When the first operation comes in with a diffrent name than the others it cause dual posting

 

I haveing problem with dualpostingsbug In System Configuration > Toolpath Manager > NC File, I have “User defined name” checked. Its for making my ncfilename allways the same for my cnc to find it.

 

When import operations the first operation imported in the file if there will be no orther operations before will not post to correct nc file. They others do. That’s the reason for the dual post. When running right NC in cnc later there will be no drill op first thing and cnc goes directly to tap for example.

This bug is a painful everydaybug that has been there since X3.

I have been on qc about it since X3 and after all mu. It have been up in this forum several time.
