Does anyone know of a good machine to match drill holes from and old fitting to a new fitting? I would like to find something like a 5 axis machine that we could scan the holes on the old part and create a program and drill the new fitting. I have seen a fixture Boeing made to transfer holes in a pylon fitting that had a locking spherical ball that was kinda neat! The fitting we need to transfer holes in is around 10 feet long and 3 feet wide.
