Lathe Finish - Corner Break

Hello,

 

I have drawn my geometry with a couple of outside radius(fillets) and a chamfer. In the Lathe Finish toolpath there is an option for Corner Break. I turned it on and off and I see no difference in the toolpath.

 

This is what I'm thinking and let me know if I'm wrong... Since I've already created my fillets and chamfer I do not need to turn on Corner break as the tool will follow geometry. On the other hand if my geometry had sharp corners, the tool will auotmatically create an additional radius or chamfer based on the value I enter in the Corner Break parameters.

Yes your quite correct. Try drawing sharp corners then have a play with the settings and you will see that you can chamfer of fillet corners, however in the same finish path you can only do one or the other.
