Change the formats from 2 or 3 to 19 (at least that's what they are in my post):

fs2 19 0.5 0.4 #Decimal, absolute, 5/4 place

fmt I 19 iout #Arc center description in X

fmt J 19 jout #Arc center description in Y

fmt K 19 kout #Arc center description in Z

.1 micron control baby!

Tony, in your post look for the parc postblock, do you see a bunch of "newfs(two, iout).

It is reformatting those variables right before the output happens, I commented out that portion of the post just to see what happens, I got it to output the 5th place but they are all 0? Looks like maybe a fmtrd called somewhere else...

Hopefully someone a bit more seasoned will chime in to help you out.

Tony, Glad you got it, but I would get a 2nd opinion on it. Maybe send the changes into your reseller to make sure it's all good. Rounding of your variables is a pretty big deal in my book. LOL, Splittin tenths, hats off to you!!!

the code looks good so im going to run with it and see what happens :o

if the machine reads in 5 place why not do it

we have some parts here that are crazy tolerance so if i can split tenths i will ;) for the cam curves i do i dont want any rounding plus SGI likes points lots of points

thanks again Keith i would have never looked there
