Machine Def and Type A memory.

We have one machine that has type A memory. I have a machine def file set up for that machine only so that the tool diameter offsets will be +30 from the height offset.

When we have parts programmed for one of the other machines and then have to move it to this machine (usually a rare situation), when I select that machines def file it doesnt update any of the tool diameter offsets unless I go in to each operation and manually select the tool.

Is there an easier way to accomplish this? I dont want to re-number the tools as we have a documentation history, setup sheets etc, that would take some time to change.
