I've noticed the creating set up sheets with active reports tutorial seems to be x4 based, and the x5 version of active reports designer seems to be changed a little, has anyone made an updated tutorial yet?

We will be releasing an updated tutorial with X5 MU1.

Regards,

Wendy

I've come across this post while doing some research on setup sheets and was wondering if this is still in the works? I currently do not use X+, but have messed with the Active Reports a little, not enough to get anything beneficial out of it, yet.

I plan on creating some customized setup sheets for my company and would like some opinions from those of you that use them, if possible. I have a few questions to ask, though:

1- Do you prefer Active Reports or X+?

2- Quick reasons why?

3- Can you share any screen shots or samples of how your setup sheets look?

I'm not asking for any of your actual customized reports, just how the output looks and what sorts of information you include.

Many thanks to your highly anticipated responses!!!!

Ive got a solid X+ setup running and I've been playing with Active Reports for a new tool list. I can tell you I prefer X+ because its simple and the sky is the limit on customization. The only limitation is your ability to customize the output. Active reports does do some stuff I like, I'm just working on getting the output I want.
