X5 defaults not working

I have installed X5 MU1 and am having problems with default files. I have changed the NC file location and the operation library and operation defaults files in the configuration. MC still has the original (MC default) operation & defaults files in the files setting page. It also writes the NC files to the MC default location. Is this a bug or is there something else I have to do?

I have the same issues and started a thread on it too.

There are no solutions as of yet. sometimes I can go a whole week

without the defaults miraculously being reset, sometimes I am resetting them twice daily.

 

The worst two are the control def settings and the operation defaults including imported ones,

they take the longest to keep resetting.

have you tried moving you default files out of the user folders

That would eliminate Windows permission issues as a cause of this problem
