Regenerating toolpaths

Hello all,

 

When I make a change on a drawing and have to regenerate my toolpaths, all toolpaths regenerate even if I just choose 1 toolpath. Is this right?

Only the selected ops change I believe.I am not sure about 9.1

The affected toolpaths were also in a transform toolpath. So when u regen 1 toolpath, the transforms toolpath also regens which in turn regens all toolpaths associated to the transform toolpath. Phew!!!!! Make sense.

Yes that makes sense. That is the point of keeping the translated ops associated with the original op. So you can update 1 and have the rest update. If you want to have the transformed ops be independant check "create new operations and geometry"

If for whatever reason you did not want the transform toolpaths to regenerate, simply lock them first by selecting them in the operation manager and pressing the 'L' key. You'll see a little padlock icon over the nci path if they are locked. 'L' toggles the locked status based on the status of the first selected operation in the list.
