Drill Manager - turn off sort

I have sort turned off in my drill manager, but the entities are still not drilling in the order I picked them. I use circles to drill / bore. I seem to remember a trick here to force Mastercam to ignore any auto sort but I’m drawing a blank.

Are all of your circles on the same plane/depth?

Use the arrow at the top of the selection window and pick the holes

in the order wanted

I want to pick the actual circles (i.e. using entities, by layer)and using that method I can't get the entities to sort in the order I pick the entities. If I use the pointer and select the center of the arc, the depth value in the parameter tab is grayed out.
