Performance/Settings Question

Why is it when I start the task manager, and regenerate a toolpath the CPU usage never goes above 50%? The computer is new and I expected more than a benchmark of two minutes. It is a quad core and set up to use all cores available.

AMD Phenom 2 X4 processor 3.5 GHz Quad core

16. GB

The IT guy had already washed his hands of this issue, but I'm not happy. Am I missing something??

Nope...64 bit operating system

What Ron is saying is that the Mcam is a 32bit program, you're only going to push so much information, you've just got a much bigger pipe to push it through. Also Mcam is not a multithreading program, there are however toolpaths in the program that take advantage of multithreading. B)
