Edit NCI on mastercam X4

Recommended Posts

You can certainly output the NCI file and manually make changes, but I would recommend against that. There are enough tools inside the Mastercam software that you can usually accomplish what you need to without having to edit the NCI.

We need a better description of what you want to do with the software. Are you trying to make multiple parts with the same geometry? What do you mean with 'esclate'. Are you trying to scale the geometry to be bigger or smaller? Are you trying to make a revision to an existing program where you need to just change a portion? Are you wanting to revise the program when you get a revision to the original part geometry?

Please try to give us a more complete description and we can do a better job of helping you.

Thanks,

Welcome to the fourm!!!

Unfortunately, I have no idea what you are trying to do...

My only guess is that your trying to raise your z zero... which can be done by shifting your WCS

That's what I gathered. But why in NCI? if it is to feed another post such as Camplete or icam or gpost, you may be able to do the shifts in the post program. I know Camplete excels at that.

But I agree with Keith, that WCS is your friend.
