Leading in outside of boundary for specific paths?

Does anyone know if there are any plans to add the option (and have it actually work!) for leading in to material outside of the boundary for some of the pocket facing type tool paths.

 

I.E. SHS Horizontal area (I am assuming that nothing will ever be added to the legacy SHS paths at this point?)

 

Surface Rough Pocket Facing, There is an option for leading in outside of the boundary but it does not work. Is there a way to get this to work?

 

Some of these tool paths are very convenient and make facing odd shapes an easy task but some material just does not like to be ramped down in to.
