Rotary axis post problems

Hey Guys,

I'm having retract issues in my post, Mastercam shows correct movement the Z axis doing a full retract before rotataion but when it post it doesn't.

I need the a movment to be with or after line N8160. The top of my part is Z3.0 and it's rotating at Z2.915.

Also is there a way to have it not put a feed command on every line?

Is this a new problem that worked correctly/differently in the past, or just something you want to change now?

 

In the general output settings of your post, what do you have for this?

ret_on_indx : 1 #Machine home retract on rotary index moves, (0 = no, 1 = yes)

 

As for the feed... its getting output on every (most) lines because it is changing... (degrees per minute it looks like)

It's set to 0

 

 

I have someone from Inhouse looking into the issue, I'll let you know more when they fix it.

I have the same issues. Part rotates as the Z is retracting and it gouges my part. Let me know what you find out please.

Did any of you try setting that to 1?

Jammer, try Keith's suggestion (he has helped me several times) and if that doesn't work shoot a sample .z2g when you have a chance and I will take a look if you want me to. :oldforumcheers:

I'm not sure exactly what that problem was Inhouse did fix it for me but the problem was in the post. They fixed the post so rotation will happen after reaching the clearance plane.
