Stock Model for 2D Rest Milling

Was playing around with the stock model operation. Why can't we use it with the 2D High Speed Rest Milling Toolpaths? Seems to me this would be a very useful and more used area for it to shine.

 

Anyone care to comment?

All you need to do is under "rest material" Select "One other operation" then select the stock operation you want to look at for rest-milling. Easy Peasy!

 

 

EDIT: Ok, I take that back. I just assumed that's how it should work, but after giving it a try...well, lets just say I'm a little disappointed. I wonder what exactly is the point of giving us this stock model to use, and then not be able to use it in all the rest milling toolpaths?
