The key I would really like to turn off is the "End" key function that sends my geometry spinning every time I hit it by mistake, usually when going for the "Page Down" button.

First of all it is an entirely stupid function(?)and it is extremely agravating when I am busy and have to reset my geometry orientation because of it.

I do not see it in the toolbars/keys list.

Probably simple and I am just not finding it but, an answer to this would make someone a friend for life!!!!

I would have to disagree. Some times this function is absolutely useful, like when I have a really complex part, I like to just have it spin while I get a look at it and think about how I'm going to approach it. I'm trying to get them (CNC Software) to give us some control over the speed of how fast it rotates.

OK Jim,

I can see it if it we could control the speed or turn it off.

On my old PC it spins at a snail pace and on my new one it spins much too fast.

For me, at least, it is annoying.

Dan, I know where that is, I do not find the choice in the list.

There might be some keyboard mapping utility out there that will allow you to "turn off" the end key, or reassign it to another key somewhere in the board less likely to be in the way. I know some were mentioned a while back....

....Or you can get yourself a screwdriver and pop the sucker off biggrin.gif While you're at it you'll probably wanna tear that damn insert key off too rolleyes.gif
