how to blank stock & chuck on level (lathe)

Hello guys

 

Is it possible to blank the lathe stock and chuck on say level 3? I'm wanting to draw a custom lathe tool on level 3 to stay with the lathe file. I can't seem to figure out how to get the stock and chuck to not show. I don't know if it will cause an issue with the custom tool. It would be nice not to see the stock and chuck on level 3 with the tool. I'm using X5MU1

look in stock setup

Go into the Stock set up properties, there is a toggle in there

You can also toggle the stock display on-the-fly using this button

Glad I could help. Also, the button to the left of the circled one toggles shaded/wireframe lathe stock/chuck display.
