Canned cycles won't post with GENERIC 2 AXIS LATHE.pst

Recommended Posts

Hello Again.

I am asking anyone to help me with this. I have tried outputting the Canned roughing cycle in my post (GENERIC 2 AXIS LATHE.pst) and it always puts it out as long hand I have looked at all my switches in the post and can't seem to find anything wrong. Something I am missing?

Thanks

Chris

You may need to "enable" them...That is also done through the control def... the machining cycles branch.

BTW you will need to reload the control def for the changes to take hold. Going into the control def by way of the machine def will "reload" both the MD & CD as soon as you save them and green check your way out.

Thanks.

I have looked at the control definition page for the Lathe Machine Cycles and they are all checked off, but it seems that the post is not supporting them. Funny thing though. I switched to another post (MPLFAN.pst) within my current .mmd and it still did not post the roughing canned cycle, but when I switched to the Lathe Default.mmd (kept the same MPLFAN.pst), and it actually posted the canned roughing properly. I honestly think i am missing something in my .mmd file ( I named it HARDINGE GT.mmd and I have using the supplied GENERIC 2 AXIS LATHE.control-5.

I think I might just redo this with the lathe default.

or unless you may think of something that i may be missing?
