Once you get all the parameters set, hit the "save" icon at the top left of the operation's parameters window. That will save all the info you entered to the default file for that toolpath, next time you create that toolpath, your new values should all be there.

Sounds like maybe you want to save your operation for use in other part files. If that's the case, check the operation(s) that you want to save, right click go down to Export and save them to a custom operation folder of you choice. Then later when you want to use them again, in your new MC part file, you can right click in Operations Manager and go down to Import to import your saved operation.

Create new file, import ops, select geo, and go. Real time saver.

I've been doing this as a way to "procedurise" programming for families of parts. I import the whole set of ops for the setup, but there's some toolpath geometry I still have to make for each one. Saves a huge amount of time and really improves reliability.

I just programmed, 16 parts

First one took about 8 hours

the subsequent ones, about 45 minutes a piece.

imported all the ops, made ONLY the geometry I needed to drive the paths, regenned, done

5 axis positional
