I constantly run into mastercam saying not responding when I am trying to run ram saver, sometimes when processing a program, or trying to save the file or an .STL file as well what causes this? This is a new machine with windows 7 I have a 1GH vid card and 6 core processor with hyper threading turned on and 4GH of ram. I wouldnt think it is the machine because it only shoe 9-20% on the cpu usage. And I am still using MCX4 MU3.

It could be a windows 7 issue. A lot of programs I run (not just Mastercam, Adobe Acrobat in particular does it to me all the time) in Windows 7 will falsely state "Not responding" if it takes too long processing a file. If you leave it, does Mastercam eventually come back to you or do you have to end it every time?

Yes only 4GB of ram should we have more the little gadget thing that monitors stuff says I am usually about 40-45%usage on the ram. And yes sometimes it comes back and sometimes it don't. and file size three of the parts I am currently working on are 17,604-17,245KB after programed. And on one part it would not save an .STL file It does seem we have had more issues since upgrading to Windows 7 but you would figure Mastercam Would address and fix these since 7 seems to be the way were all heading.
