EDITING THE MILL.SET

Recommended Posts

Hi all and good morning,

As you can see from my post yesterday. I am trying to nail down a good setup sheet for my company. I have everything the way I like it. But, now I am lacking one thing.... Max Z depth per tool. I have gone through the mill.set a few time and can not figure out were in the H*(( it is.

If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again for all your help!! biggrin.gif

There are several option switches in the MILL.SET

# Post specific "switches" to allow turning ON/OFF the following functions ->

# The 'xyz_limits' switch allows selecting WHERE to output this information.

# Setting the 'xyz_limits' variable ->

#xyz_limits = 0, Do NOT output ANY Max/Min X,Y,Z information.

#xyz_limits = 1, Output Max/Min X,Y,Z info. ONLY for EACH tool (not Program)

#xyz_limits = 2, Output Max/Min X,Y,Z info. ONLY for entire Program

#xyz_limits = 3, Output Max/Min X,Y,Z info. for EACH tool AND Program

xyz_limits : 2 # Output Max/Min X,Y,Z information, where?

Hi Roger,

I have not talked to you in a long time. I dont know if you remember me or not. You were out to our place one or two times.

Anyway, I made some switches and I get a bunch of errors now??? I just want the Z max depth for each tool so the operator knows how long to leave the cutter sticking out of the holder. Here is my code in that area......

# Post specific "switches" to allow turning ON/OFF the following functions ->

# X,Y,Z axis limits option switches...

# By setting the switch variables (to 'yes' or 'no') ->

# You can select which axis you wish to monitor.

X_limits : no # Output MAX/MIN values for the X axis (yes/no)?

Y_limits : no # Output MAX/MIN values for the Y axis (yes/no)?

Z_limits : yes # Output MAX/MIN values for the Z axis (yes/no)?

# The 'xyz_limits' switch allows selecting WHERE to output this information.

# Setting the 'xyz_limits' variable ->

#xyz_limits = 0, Do NOT output ANY Max/Min X,Y,Z information.

xyz_limits = 1, Output Max/Min X,Y,Z info. ONLY for EACH tool (not Program)

#xyz_limits = 2, Output Max/Min X,Y,Z info. ONLY for entire Program

#xyz_limits = 3, Output Max/Min X,Y,Z info. for EACH tool AND Program

#xyz_limits : 2 # Output Max/Min X,Y,Z information, where?

Thanks For your help!!
