Coolant Options

There was a really good thread on here a couple of months ago about how to add other options to "coolant options" in the tool manager... By default we've got off, flood, mist and tool and I'm looking to add "air" as one of the options and I can't find that thread to save my life... If anyone can help out I would appreciate it!

I use mist as my air option. I just edited my post under mist and put in the code to turn on the air when mist is selected.

Hi Dan,

I guess the simpler way would be to put it to mist (not much people uses it as I know) and just go in your post and change the code for the mist to your air code and that's it. The only thing left to see is if the M9 will stop your air (I don't think) so you'd need to add a little something for that.HTH!

You cannot "add" additional Coolant options,

but you can "change" any of the 3 Coolant type options in MC.

 

Example:

Make FLOOD become AIR, in the posted output AND in the screen selections in MC when a specific post processor is active.

Yes I used air blast and G09 dose shut off air blast. In general it shuts off all coolant that I know of.

There are a lot of people out of work in racing right now just because of the economy, and a lot of the teams are struggling to keep the people they do have employed. As far as the general area, i'd have to say there is a TON of opportunity down here... Where in pa?

I moved here from Busti, NY... Up by Warren, PA... Use to go drink beer(s) at the Deer Head Inn in Meadville ...There are a lot of jobs down here in the Charlotte area...

Then you could do just about anything to it.
