I am talking to a company from there and they want to make me a offer and I was just wondering what I should expect. I have looked it up on msn and it said that the cost of living is about the same as where I am from. Anyone that info I would like some input . Thank You

  4. To create something "Idiot Proof" you will have to get ride of all of the Idiots, Because someone is always dumber then they look. Where I work they want us to make everything fool proof so I told them to stop hiring fools. It didn't go over real big.
  5. I don't have to go to work I just have to take the laptop home and do work there.
  6. I used SmartCam and Ideas when smartcam got rolled over into it and I have used edge cam and can say that was the worst cad cam software I have ever seen. I have used Master Cam for about 3 years now and love it. I think that smartcam had a few different opitions for tool paths but you learn different ways around them in a hurry. I still like ideas alot also.
  7. You could try Hemly Tool Supply Indurtrial Tool Division. They are in Montville Ohio. Phone 440-968-3228. They have several building so they may give you another number to a different building. They deal with surplus and used tool holders.

  10. What do you mean double post? Is programing the same. I think that it would be or at least close.
  11. Can anyone tell me the deference betwwen a 5-axis router and a 5-axis mill.
  12. I think that you may want to read the FQA,s. You may take a little heat for this one.
  13. I know there is a software named GREV5. It work ok with lines and arcs. I have used it onsome of our trimming files.
  14. i Used to sink drop hammer dies. Has any one ever machined wedge roll dies or transverse roll dies. they are a lot of fun on a 3 axis machine. also made dies for a # 23 die forger air hammer made by chambersbugr. The good old days.

  16. I live in Greenville. It's just south of Meadville. Or half way between Pittsburg and Erie.
  17. When we get in any file that is not what we normal receive we have use rinho to convert it the only problem is our operator is off today but will be back monday. Let me know if that might work.
  18. Yes I used air blast and G09 dose shut off air blast. In general it shuts off all coolant that I know of.

  20. I still use 7.2 We have one machine that nobody ever worked with the post to undate it so I have to program it in 7.2
  21. I use air all the time with insert cutters. I found that coolant would fracture the insert.
  22. If post writing were that easiy everyone would be able to do it. When someone takes the time and money to learn this then expecte that they will charge to write a post for you, Or while else would they take the time and money to do it.
  23. It sounds a lot like finkle # 1 die block. I cut that stuff. I used a lot of indexable insert cutters. I think i used about 50 surface feed. If you have so questions on what cutters i used and speeds and feed please e-mail me.
