File, Next Menu, Print?

Looks like File, Next Menu, Print is not in the menu anymore. I use this for printing NC code because it does it without any fancy fonts.

Printing G-code from the editor takes forever on my dot matrix printer.

That function has been moved to File, List, NC which brings up a viewer. From the viewer go File, Print and this will do an unformatted print of G-code.

The File, Next Menu, Print, NC is still accessible thru the Key/Button assignments. Go Screen, Configure, Toolbars/Keys and select the "File, Print" function and assign it to a button or ATt-key combination.

I would suggest that you sell your dot-matrix printer to the Smithsonian, and put the proceeds towards a bubble jet.

Will a bubble jet support fan-feed paper? Don't need loose leaf paper flying all over the shop.

Why would you have to print out NC code?

If you have to do it, find an ASCII text editor that can handle large files. We use Editeur (shareware version available). It is fast and allows you to set printer fonts different from screen fonts. It also tracks edits..etc. You can also get shareware or freeware that allows for two column printing. The older type tractor feed is rare on bubblejet, but you would just have to set page length carefully.
