Can you simulate cutting with a length offset error?

Yes. Any length or diameter offsets can be applied just as they would be at the machine. The key is to define the control properly so the correct adjustments are made when playing the file.

Is it possible to configure your own control or does vericut have to do it. On another note why do they ask us "the customer" to provide the 3D models of the machine, shouldnt they have this already in a database ?

You can configure your own machine/control. Vericut has several basic machines and controls for you to start with and they constantly get updated per version updates from user requests.

Vericut does not provide machine models due to the variations that are out there. I would think that they could be liable for an unforseen crash if they provided the machine model.
