I CANT FIGURE OUT WHAT THE H377 YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.

i set the part at the top view as i wanted to machine it with t wcs top plane active as i would in a vertical mill

tool paths normal look fine in simm posted it gave me a b rotation of 90 deg instead of b 0 deg

when milling the b 90 and b 270 sides the planes rotated to right and left sides and shifted gave me opposite x and y paths

what is the tool plane set for? top or front?, in the standard mpmaster post provided (if thats what you are using) wwcs set to top and t plane set to front gives a b0 on a toolpath

yeah you def need to set you wcs for top and the tplane to front for a b0 on a hmc , but this also depends on the machine def and post so..

thanks Brandon it gave me the right rotation on the posted op but ill have to work oon the verify I just changed the plane on the op and the tool path is funky

did you change the comp plane too , in the toolpath paras page there are three planes wcs, tool, and comp,, set them top, front, front, or your geometry is not facing the front plane, its most likely on of those two

your right the geo is facing top wcs so i need to rotate the part to face the front t and c plane and re pick geo ?

i got the b rotations posting at b -90 and b-270 and the machine simmulation in mastercam wont work because the toolpath is oriented wrong to the current machine definition but the verify works AND THE PART LOOKS GOOD IN THE ACTUAL MACHINE SIMMULATION OUT ON THE FLOOR thanks a bunch Brandon
