Yep !

In backplot mode choose :

Display -> save as geometry. Look on the possible options.

I recomend you before doing it to make a new active layer and to put it there

.

After backploting your geometry to the separate level you can save it as a separate file:

File -> save some and convert it to Iges or dxf with File ->converters ->Iges->write file or

File ->converters ->Autodesk-> write file .

thank you very much u guys!!! i am using mastercam at work for calculating some jigs for roughing out parts on a pin router. using contour toolpath i figure i will be able to calculate the xy paths and make a template out of them , and get the z height using stops on the router foot pedal. incase u were wondering wink.gif
