If I enable the Post debugger will that show me when I post a program where that line is coming from in the Post Processor?

Yes. Using the debugger is so simple, they only needed 72 pages in a PDF file to explain it.

 

It will give you some very relevant information, though.

Thanks Robert. Very Informative. And if I understand correctly this will allow me to play with the post to see how my NC file post's out without actually changing my Post at this time and maybe making it worse?

Yes it will show you the post line and postblock where the code is coming from. It actually gives you a lot of information if you're new to making post mods. With that being said I would recommend backing up the post before making any modifications to it.

Also, keep in mind that if you're trying to debug a custom post that refrences a .psb file, it will tell you know which lines are in the .psb but you will not be able to edit those portions unless you have access to open the .psb

not quite, you still need to edit PST in text editor in a separate window; save changes; then repost to see effect of changes. So please do back up your original post. But you can keep the same debugger session open while you make and save edits to your post, so it is easier to see effects of changes, plus it will do things like maintain breakpoints and such.
