DXF/DWG File Conversion - Font Incorrect?

I've just read in a DXF file, and a DWG file, into X6. Both conversions bring the font in incorrectly, compared to the same conversion in X4 (X4 converts fine). The X6 font is "skinnier" and the lettering is all off centre. The X4 conversion is centred and the correct shape.

Has anyone else encountered this? Do I need to install the latest Inventor View ?

No you shouldn't need InventorView...that would only come into play if you are importing an Inventor .IPT, .IAM, or .IDW file.

There are so many ways that the DWG/DXF formats can be passing us font information, that I'd like to take a look at the file if you don't mind...maybe there's something there which points me toward either a suggestion or a fix in a future Mastercam version.

You can email it to me at [email protected].
