STL Stock file crash

I have been using STL files for my verify since i started using Mastercam however today i began a large project containing 154 level from a step file,I have created a STL file for my stock however when i attempt to load it my Mastercam crashes and shuts down....does anyone know how to fix this???????

try increasing the resolution of the STL file when you save it.

Look on the Options page of Save As (STL)

What version are you in? If it's X6 you can make a stock model right from the STEP solid without having to make an STL.

So how do i make a stock model,I have tried the stock setup feature however it will only let me select one item/level as stock not all 154 levels as required,I've also tried increasing the STL resolution but this didnt help.

Under toolpaths, select stock model. Than define your initial stock, and what operations you want the stock model created from.
