MX7 - Unable to open file.

I was working on this file last week, and then this morning it would not reopen. The program just sits unresponsive when attempting to open it. I am able to extract the geometry, but cannot get it to open with its tool paths. I believe it has something to do with the “stock compare” operations, last week it would take several minutes to render a tool path change. So my question is whether or not there is anyway to filter the file when opening, ie: partition off toolpaths? Thanks in advance!

Can you send the part to us? If so please send it to [email protected]. We might be able to do something with it. How long did you wait for the file to open? Was there every any message or dialogs that popped up? Check in the event log as well and see if there is anything in there that might be of use.

I got the O.K. to send you the parts file; I will send it to the address you specified. As far as messages, I don’t get any, the program hangs up and that’s it. I have let it run for two hours hoping it would come thru, but no luck.

Thanks Jason. We got the part and development is looking into it. For some reason it is in a loop using the slot number and it just goes round and round and round. I'll let you know what we find. Thanks again for sending the file, it really helps.
