Import Holders With Ops

Yes, you will get the holder error when importing a toolpath that has a holder assigned to it. Don't try changing the holder in the op defaults. What happened was you probably had a holder assigned in the toolpath made other setting the used the save to defaults utity in the upper left. To clear it out open the toolpath go to the holder page, set the holder to blank or none, then resave the toolpath defaults. That has cleared it out for me.

 

When we start using McamX7 you will be able

to associate tools and holders as an assembly in the tool database. Have you tried the X7 test drive?
