HARDINGE (BRIDGEPORT) XR 760

The company I now work for has a hardinge xr 760 and a xr 1500, I have been programming for years at another place that had all Haas machines. all the Haas machines used to run my G code in graphics to catch certain mistakes that I could of made. The machinist at this new place say that there machines have no such feature, I don't beleive it, does anyone know if this is possible? and if it is possible, what are the step by step procedures?......TY J.

Have a couple of XV1000's here with bare bones Fanuc Oi-MC controls and they definitely don't have any graphics that I'm aware of.

Buy yourself a copy of NCPlot.

Check your code before it gets to the machine - less embarrasing and more productive!

If you have the Oi-MC control, the only thing I'm aware of is the cstm/gr button. All the graphic does is plot your toolpath in dotted lines and allows yout erase........

The machines both have the Fanuc 18i-ms series controllers
