x7 Verify surfacing issue...need help

I am getting an error when opening some surfacing operations in the new verify. Anyone else have this problem?

 

Its driving me nuts lol.

Is this a file created in X7? Or have you opened a file created in a previous version and tried to verify it?

 

I am fairly sure I saw a post somewhere on here about people sometimes having an issue with existing files from previous versions throwing this error sometimes..

 

Either way I would opening the operation in the ops manager and redefining the tool and see if that helps, if that doesn't work try recreating the tool altogether and swapping to the new tool.

I'm not sure if the ''machine Möbius strip" option is available in X7

I saw this in early beta releases. What version of X7 are you running.

Go to the Files page of the Ops Manager and make sure the Tool Library is pointing to your default X7 tool library

Using X7 SP1 and this was a fresh program created from scratch in x7. I am having the issue on all new programs that have a surfacing op(flowline). I notice that if i have a non surfacing OP prior to creating one, the simulator gives me the error OR it runs with the tool from the previous OP.

 

@Gcode I have a custom tool library that i made by copying all my x6 tools to a new x7 .tooldb file

It also fails if i create a new tool instead of using library tool.

 

Now the toolpath "looks" fine, it just that i can't verify my surfacing operations

do you have that tool library pathed in the "Tool Library" section of Files in the Operations Manager???

yes and it is also set as my default library in setting>configuration

I am ALSO getting the same error when i open X5 files and try to run the Verify. This is fixed by reselecting the tools for all operations...quite counter productive

 

Any word on when this issue will be fixed? Not being able to verify surface operations is a major risk issue for me.
