Restrict drawing

I haven't seen this mentioned in any of the new Verify discussions -

Has the restrict drawing option been removed from the X7 backplot? I am hoping that I simply don't see it.

I'm still seing it on my system. Are you using the "old" style backplot option? It is set/enabled under Maastercam X7\Utilities\Advanced Configuration

I am using 'classic backplot. There are no other options to enable. What style should I be looking for . . . . . and how would I acquire it?

Also while on the topic, on Verify I don't see how you can save the verified toolpath as a new stock. I feel sure there must be a way to do that.

Any help on that one?

kTurk - I've still got it on my X7 install, right above the green check. It is not in the new backplot, yet, though (the one you can switch to if you disable classic backplot or switch to "backplot" after opening verify). It is one of the reasons that the new simulator wasn't rolled out on X7's release. That should be remedied soon

 

Edit: If you go to File, you can save the new model as an STL.. You can do it at any point during the verify as well.. I prefer to use stock model to get my in-process models, however, I think it works better than the STLs out of new verify for now, and it doesn't make me keep track of yet another file..

Ahhhhhh, feeling a little dense. I never clicked backplot from the operations manager. Assumed it would open the new UBV.
