Hi

I have been ask to start a database of holder with toolmanager at my job for futur use. My question concert the part where you create your holder with tool manager. You have the upper connection like bt hsk cat 40 50 etc. I understand that part.

Where i need help is with the lower connection definition include with mastercam tool manager. It's start on default with ID but you also have. Od,CHUCK,ER( is it the collet er 32,er 16 type of connection), TG,DA,SYOC and EOC.

We have mainly ER16,32 a few 40 and a lot of shrink-fit and some power grip connection.

Are the lower connection listed in tool manager related to holders we use in CNC or it's something complety apart. Keep it mind that i'm still a novice with CNC in general. 1 years and half experience but i'm really good with computer in general as i get thingh on the first time when it.S come to pc.( wish it was like this for anything in life haha)

So basicly what does OD CHUCK ER TG DA SYOC AND EOC stand for or is related to. Ty
